PFF tabs Drake Jackson as most valuable returning center in college football

Over the last couple of weeks, PFF has been incredibly high on the upcoming season for the ‘Cats. Not only is the media outlet big fans of the offensive tackles, Max Duffy, and Boogie Watson but they also believe UK will begin the 2020 season ranked in the top 25.

Now, Drake Jackson is receiving some of the same love. On Friday, PFF tabbed the rising senior as the top returning center in all of college football for the incoming year.

Coming off a junior season that saw him named to the SEC’s First Team Offense, Jackson is widely expected to be a future NFL draft pick in 2021. Heading into his final season in Lexington, he’ll be the leader of the “Big Blue Wall” tasked with protecting quarterback Terry Wilson along with what should be a crowded backfield.
