Panthers finalize 2020 preseason schedule


The Panthers will play their first two games on Thursday, before a nationally televised third matchup on Sunday, and finish on a short week with a final Thursday contest.

Carolina will start the 2020 preseason at home against Jacksonville on Thursday, Aug. 13 at 7:30 p.m. Head coach Matt Rhule’s preseason debut will be the franchise’s first time hosting Jacksonville in a preseason game since 2000.

The team will head up to Foxborough, Mass. for the second preseason contest against the Patriots on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 7:30 p.m. This will be the sixth time in the last seven years that Carolina and New England will play an exhibition matchup.

The Panthers will have a long week of practice before their contest against the Ravens on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 8:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast across the country on NBC as part of its preseason Sunday Night Football package.
