While speaking to Jim Gray of Westwood One on Thursday night, Tom Brady promised that he would be back at practice on Friday. Indeed, the GOAT kept his word, back in full swing in the chilly New England air on Friday.
According to several reports, both Tom Brady and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. were back at practice at Gillette Stadium this morning in preparation for the Monday night game against the Miami Dolphins.
Brady and Wise both missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Brady with an Achilles injury and Wise with a foot problem. Luckily, the Patriots get an extra day of practice on Saturday thanks to this week’s Monday Night schedule. The extra time will be key in making sure everything is up to snuff for the QB.
As for why he was out, Brady told Westwood One that he was “getting a little extra treatment.”
As for key players missing from practice, apparently, Kyle Van Noy and Marcus Cannon were both not spotted at practice. If they really did miss practice, they would be very doubtful for Monday night.
