Colin Cowherd is a big fan of Aaron Rodgers and think he’s one of the top ten quarterbacks in NFL history already. So, he should want him to come back this season right?

He does, but he believes it is more about Rodgers’ legacy than about a playoff push to him. Cowherd thinks Green Bay has no shot at making the playoffs, but Rodgers has a shot to leapfrog Brett Favre in another category.

Here’s what he had to say.

Would Rodgers’ legacy be solidified with #Packers if he returned this season?

Cowherd added that there’s no reason to bring Rodgers back if he’s not 100 percent healthy. Even if he’s trying to top Brett Favre or make a playoff push. The Packers have to focus on the future and protect the future Hall of Famer.
