Carson Wentz responds to LeBron James’ comments!

Carson Wentz was in his first year of college when LeBron James won his first NBA championship. He was only 10 years old when LeBron began his NBA career.

But, LeBron has said the young gun is his new favorite NFL player, and Wentz wasn’t expecting that.

And just like Wentz has always done, he gave a very modest answer when he was asked about LeBron’s comments.

That’s why we love him.

“It’s pretty cool. I have a ton of respect for a guy like LeBron,” Wentz said. “Growing up, I watched him tear up the league as a rookie. I love watching that guy play. He’s unbelievable. Quite the talent.

“He’s one of the most impressive athletes in the world. It’s pretty humbling to hear that stuff.”

James heaped praise on Wentz before he played in Philadelphia on Monday. He went 12-23 for 30 points and had 14 rebounds and six assists. So, Wentz isn’t wrong when he says LeBron is one of the most impressive athletes in the world.
