“This is bigger than a suspension,” Elliott said. “It’s bigger than football, them (NFL) trying to make me something I’m not. I’m not an abuser.”
Last week, Elliott expressed his confidence that he’ll play the rest of the season. It looked like that wouldn’t come to fruition after Judge Katherine Polk Failla dissolved his second temporary restraining order on Monday night.
But, Zeke has been issued an administrative stay for this week. So, he’s won yet another battle to clear his name.
He and the NFLPA will continue fighting until the bitter (or sweet) end. Elliott may lose his appeal next week, he might not, but the outcome will not determine his fight.
Elliott is a fighter on and off the field.
Let’s do our best to support him throughout this process as a person as well as a player.
