Kellen Moore got the start for the Boys. He was 12/17 for 182 yards with one touchdown pass and one interception. Cooper Rush followed up and was 7/16 for 87 yards and one touchdown pass. He also had 23 yards on the ground.

Rico Gathers, the former Baylor basketball standout, caught 3 balls for 59 yards and one touchdown. Ez Nwachukwu also got a touchdown catch. Butler lead the way in receiving yards with 78.

As for rushing, Rod Smith had 18 carries for 64 yards and Alfred Morris had 42 yards. Both are vying for Zeke’s backup spot.

The Cowboys were down for most of the game, but rallied in the second half with a touchdown in the third quarter and a field goal to put them up 20-18 in the fourth.

On the Cardinals side, Blaine Gabbert was 11 for 14 with 185 yards. The two touchdowns came from the running game, with Williams and Ellington both getting one.

Kurt Warner and Jerry Jones were both in attendance, as both were inducted into the National Football Hall of Fame. Congrats to them both!

The two teams will meet again on September 25th this year.
