New developments in the Ezekiel Elliott domestic violence case broke today…
We all now know that Zeke was suspended for 6 games by the NFL last week for his role in a domestic violence incident. Ironically, the NFL’s investigation turned up evidence of Elliott being guilty, while the legal system did not.
Elliott plans to appeal his suspension. His premise will be that he hasn’t been charged with a crime in relation to the incident, and that he’s received multiple treats to “ruin his career” by his ex-girlfriend, Tiffany Thompson.
Thompson’s chronicled text messages include encouraging a friend to lie to police about an alleged domestic assault on July 22, misleading testimony to NFL lead investigator Lisa Friel, and even numerous threats to ruin Elliott’s football career after he broke off their relationship.
