Dak Prescott wasn’t great, but he was enough

Zeke and Dak are out of the MVP race, but who’s in? Click here to find out!

Okay, we’ve been predicting a big game from Dak Prescott for four games now. The Cowboys won 38-14 on Thursday night against the Washington Redskins, and Dak still hasn’t had a big game without Ezekiel Elliott.

Dak completed 11 of 22 passes (that’s 50 percent if anyone’s wondering) for 102 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. He also had five carries for 28 yards.

So, that’s not exactly something to write home about. It may be exciting that Dak won without Ezekiel Elliott, but Alfred Morris was a beast with 127 rushing yards and a touchdown. Rod Smith added 27 yards and a touchdown.

On top of that. the defense played exceptionally well (did anyone see Chidobe last night?). They forced three turnovers and the special teams forced one. Speaking of special teams, Ryan Switzer took it 83 yards to the house on a punt return.
