Dak Prescott just isn’t the same without Ezekiel Elliott

First things first, we have to say that we are huge fans of Dak Prescott. We haven’t forgotten all of the great things he did his first 24 games.

At the beginning of the season, we wrote that Dak is the future of the Cowboys, not Zeke (we are still sticking to that to a degree).

The first two games without Zeke, there were a lot of other excuses for Prescott’s play. He didn’t have Tyron Smith and got sacked a bunch of times. The running backs weren’t running well against Atlanta. The receivers haven’t been getting open.

As much as it hurts, it’s time to put all of those excuses to bed.

Dak Prescott just isn’t the same without Ezekiel¬†Elliott.

This doesn’t mean he’s a bad quarterback. It doesn’t mean that you could insert any quarterback into the Cowboys system and they would have the same or more success.

It isn’t exactly a bad thing either. Zeke will be around hopefully for a good six to eight years with the Cowboys. That is if Jerry Jones is smart and pays him a lot of money.
