Cowboys may only get one player in the Pro Bowl

Last season, five Cowboys made the Pro Bowl. These players included Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Zack Martin, Tyron Smith, and Travis Frederick. They were all soaking up the sun in Orlando, Florida in February.

Now, it seems that the Cowboys might only get one player into the playoffs.

This reflects a disappointing season for Dallas. They’ve gone 6-6 and have been blown out on four different occasions. So, it makes sense that the fans aren’t voting for players who rep the star. Right now, only Zack Martin leads his position in votes with 136,167. Other players, like Dak, Dez, and Tyron Smith don’t have a lot of time to make up the difference.

The Cowboys probably aren’t worried about who makes the Pro Bowl right now. Rather, they have to focus on winning out to give themselves a very slim chance at the playoffs. Still, it’s kind of disturbing that players like DeMarcus Lawrence (who leads the league in sacks) might be left out in favor of players like Everson Griffen (who has 1.5 fewer sacks than Lawrence).
