Broncos could go back to Trevor Siemian

In a bizarre turn of events, the Broncos coaching staff could actually call on Trevor Siemian to start at quarterback again this season. Broncos insiders Mike Klis reported that Brock Osweiler is playing for his job this week against the New England Patriots.

Depending on how Osweiler plays, he could continue to start for the team or get benched. If he does get benched, the Broncos will reportedly turn back to Trevor Siemian and not Paxton Lynch in Week 11.

Klis also said that Lynch probably won’t get a chance to play unless the Broncos are not able to remain competitive and get eliminated from the playoffs. If Siemian or Osweiler are somehow able to keep the team afloat it is likely that Lynch will not see the field at all this season.

This defense should keep the team in games. The offense just needs to protect the ball and stay on the field longer than they have been doing. Three and outs are just as unacceptable because as great as this defense is, they get tired.

The Broncos won a Super Bowl behind great defense, not Peyton Manning’s arm. If one of these two QBs can be efficient will the ball, then they should be able to stay afloat in the division for the time being.
